Wisconsin Oven Corporation announced the shipment of an electrically heated standard two zone conveyor oven to a tool and equipment manufacturer. The belt conveyor oven will be used to temper steel parts and has the capability to heat 1,800 pounds of steel from 70° F to 425° F within a one (1) hour time period.
The tempering oven has work chamber dimensions of 3’0” wide x 34’0” long and 1’6” high and a maximum operating temperature of 500° F. Guaranteed temperature uniformity of ±10°F at 425° F was documented to meet AMS 2750E, Class 2 furnaces and Instrumentation Type C requirements.
“For this project, heating capability was a top priority. To ensure that the heating performance provided optimal part results we provided product testing per our customer’s load specifications.” -Gene Vetter, Senior Applications Engineer
