Schur Star Systems, Inc. is a part of a 300-million-dollar family owned company with 173 years of experience in packaging.

We have opened a new state of the art plant in Carlsbad where we have implemented industry-changing technology, including a brand new 10 color wide web flexo press and laminator. Our new lamination and adhesive technology ensure the shortest lead times on the market.

Schur Star Systems produce pre-made bags for the patented Schur Star packaging machine concept. Our bags are made of polyethylene, polypropylene, paper and laminated structures with low, medium and high barrier properties. The bags are printed in flexo in up to 10 different colors. They are available in a wide range of different shapes with numerous features, such as bottom gusset, Doy style, and header bags with Euro slot. Furthermore, we produce segment bags, peelable bags, stand-up bags, piping bags, reclosable, microwavable, and customized bags.
